GSD: Get shit done.
GSD is a simple concept. Those who deliver and get things done are going to be seen as having a higher value. Those who pontificate, talk, strategize, plan, and otherwise waste time without delivering will eventually be pushed aside.
At its core, the principles behind GSD are very simple. Reward the people who deliver the most. If you don’t reward the people who deliver, they will eventually go deliver for someone else. The math is simple and practical.
Individuals with a high motor and the knowledge of how to get things done are rarer than you’d imagine. Everyone can deliver sometimes. Anyone can get something done when the boss is yelling in their ear. Plenty of people float down the middle of the road.
The special individuals know how to deliver without micro-management. The people you want on your team know the difference between delivering something that matters and just checking the box. The game is all about value creation. People that deliver value are the secret to success. Gather more of them on your team, you will have success. Reward them and keep them.
