Users vs. You

It’s amazing how often we forget that we’re in a customer service business.  Goal number one should always be service.  In real estate the only way to keep winning business is by establishing relationships – but sometimes that means getting them the best option possible even at the sake of our own short term gains.

You may have picked up, but a lot of the blogs I read are technology and software focused.  I’m noticing a ton of cross over in how that industry services customers and how ours does.  It’s really not all that different.  Today’s reminder was from a great post a A VC about focusing on Users and not on Brand.

When you step back and think on it: 1) without customers there is no brand 2) customers define the brand and 3) the only thing you have any control over is your relationship with your customers.
