Yo! Why a simple app proves you can do better at your technology development.

You may have heard of a little app called Yo.  This little app does one thing – it sends a message containing the word “Yo” to a contact.  That’s it.  Period.  Yet this app is proving that the world is open to simple things.

Why didn’t you build this app?  Really.  Think about that question.  Why didn’t you build this app because anyone could have?

The most likely reason is that you are over-complicating everything you are doing.  You are thinking that if you take the time to build something it should do everything that you can think of.  Why have 1 feature when you can have 2?  Why build an app that just says Yo when you could build an app that says either Yo or No?

So stop over-complicating everything!  The simplest things are often better.  Everyone uses Microsoft Office.  But you know what else everyone says about Office?  It has too many features!
