When timeline dictates #strategy you can still win

You don’t always get to make decisions on the timeframe that you would prefer.  Sometimes circumstances dictate what you are able to do.  Often, this is considered a bad thing but it doesn’t have to be.

Constricted timelines force you to think outside the box and take risks that you normally wouldn’t.  Often they will be the very risks that you have previously considered but rejected for one reason or another.  This gives you the perfect opportunity to take them.  And because you’ve previously vetted them they aren’t as haphazard as it may seem on the surface.  From constraints comes innovation!

And that’s what it is all about – always striving to do better.  During normal times, change is usually not the choice that would be made.  Most people try to avoid risk whenever they can.  Use the opportunities that you get to take disadvantages and turn them to your favor.
