When things are slower, it’s more difficult to ignore the crazy around you

An interesting phenomenon occurs based on how busy you are. The busier you are, the easier it is to ignore the crazy around you. As things slow down, the crazy comes more into focus.

Let’s be honest, all of us deal with some crazy in life or in our jobs. Crazy are the little things that others do that you struggle to handle. These are usually called pet peeves. The things that bother us may not bother others.

It’s not uncommon for people to suddenly feel dissatisfaction more acutely when things slow down. It’s because you have the opportunity to stop and think. When everything is busy, you have something to occupy your mind and time. It’s easier to let the small things go because there are bigger fires to fight.

Realizing the reason you are getting frustrated is a critical step in controlling the frustration. Knowing that a change in your circumstances will impact your view of those around you, allows you to control your perception of the world around you.
