It can be difficult to elevate the real estate conversation revenue for facilities that do not directly interact with customers.  How exactly does the location of the executive group impact revenue?

(Almost) no company has real estate for the sake of having real estate.  Facilities support business groups which carry out business processes.  Those business processes have the ability to impact the overall state of the organization.

When determining real estate locations, the real questions should be:

  • What business processes are in this location?
  • Are these processes best supported in this location or somewhere else?
  • Can we improve the process through improved real estate?

Ask and answer these and you will be adding incredible value to your client and moving towards a new way of thinking about real estate.
