No. Any software that takes longer than 6 months to setup and implement is not a safe choice. Period. iWMS should always be considered a 6 month or longer implementation process. Does this mean it is never a good choice? No. Sometimes risks are necessary and important. But don’t choose iWMS because it is “safe”.
Care passionately about users and you will succeed. #ui #ux #design
To succeed in any venture you undertake whether it is a proposal, presentation, system, application, spreadsheet, or anything else you must focus on how it will be perceived when you are not in the room. Is it understandable? Can someone pick it up and understand it in 30 seconds? 5 minutes? An hour? Or maybe…
Two days until the vacation starts.
Sorry for the slow posting this week. It will be another week or so until it’s back into the regular routine again. Business has been booming which has definitely taken it’s toll on my ability to keep putting something out on a daily basis.
iWMS and real estate technology.
Today’s post is thanks to our friends at the Source which is by NAR. They have an interesting post up that talks about the benefits of Tririga and IBM to the CRE scene. I’m always a bit surprised by these posts from non-technical blogs because I rarely come across end users that are absolutely in…

They focus on the symptom instead of the root cause They ask about technology instead of process They ask about savings instead of employee satisfaction They ask about bottom line instead of top live…

Disruption is a crazy thing. It’s uncontrollable, unpredictable, good, bad, necessary and evil all in equal parts depending on where you sit and live. These days everyone seems to think Uber is the darling of disruption and uses it to talk about what will happen to their industry. But the lesson of Uber is often…
Do you trust a hacker to safeguard your personal data?
Interesting post making the rounds on LinkedIn by a Chris Chan about why he quit Facebook. It’s a fine read. Nothing to really get too excited about except one call out in the post caught my eye: Do you trust a hacker to safeguard your personal data? Apparently, to Chris, this is a giant red…
