Box Thoughts
October 1, 2018

No one is ever wrong all the time, no one is ever right all the time. Know there is a balance.

Look deep into yourself. You know that you are often wrong. I know it of myself. It’s simply not possible. Sometimes you make decisions too quickly. Sometimes you don’t know enough on a topic. Sometimes the brain just skips a beat. It happens.

If you know it’s true of yourself, why wouldn’t it be true of everyone else in the world? Everyone has good and bad days. Even that one person who is almost always wrong will have a great recommendation. Even the person that is incapable of managing a project may have great insights into what drives people.

Every leader has their blindspots. It’s important to keep that in mind because everything should always be evaluated. Just because the person that is usually on top of things suggests it, doesn’t mean it might not be wrong.
