It’s that time of the year again….

No, not the time of year where businesses “lose” billions to lost productivity.  This is the time of year where millions upon millions of Americans get to see amazing data visualizations, put together detailed statistical models and forecasts, build complex decision matrices, and generally improve their process engineering skills.

Yes, that’s right.  March Madness and the start of the Fantasy Baseball season improve the technical skills each year of millions of people.  Let’s celebrate the home grown spreadsheet and ad hoc databases.  Let’s celebrate the improved forecasting skills of a generation all trying to gain an advantage at shared cultural competitions.
