I can’t believe I have written 1,300 posts over 7 years.

Another year passes.

I cannot believe that I’ve been posting regularly here for 7 years now. There’s a catalog of 1,300+ posts that reflect my sometimes fleeting, sometimes wrong, sometimes insightful, sometimes poorly written but occasionally alright thoughts.

It’s up to each of us to make the most of what we are given. Whether you fight for every inch or you are given a headstart, we all have a path to follow. Sometimes it is harder than others. I’m proud to walk my path and occasionally get the opportunity to support others on the path they travel. To support another and help them move further along is the most worthwhile cause.

I’m lucky that several of you continue to put up with me and read these ramblings. It’s more than I could hope for. This site is one of the most selfish things that I do because it’s all about me and my thoughts. Sure, I’m sharing them with anyone who wants to read them but it’s still a selfish activity. But if this site helps someone ease their path it was worth it. If somehow my writing makes someone’s burden a bit easier, it was worth it.

Luck has been a defining factor in my life. I’ve been lucky to know the people in my life. Blessed to be where I am. Lucky to have built a network that listens to me and gives me feedback. I’m positive I don’t deserve everything I’ve gotten but I try to do my best to make the most of every gift.
