Pi Day is my favorite random holiday throughout the year. It always brings me joy that more than just math/science people end up celebrating it. There’s something special about the random, unexpected people I see in life celebrating this greatest of days.
If something as simple as the format of a date can get people talking about the many ways that Pi exists in our lives, it’s easy to remember that we can bring other concepts to life in the future. Education is forever. The more it invades our regular lives, the better off we all are.
HAPPY PI DAY!
(And to all the non-Americans in the audience, I’ll be back on 22/7 for Pi Approximation Day using International date formats!)
