Are you venturing out enough?

Get out and experience new things.  Quit calling the same types of organizations.  Learn to talk about a new subject.  Practice something completely unrelated to CRE and what you do daily.

Deploying skills that you don’t use often can be surprisingly helpful to those “unrelated” areas because in reality – nothing is ever unrelated.  You are always at the center.
