Anyone believing that #CRE has entered a data driven era has blinders on.

Are there some small, niche pockets where this is true?  Of course.  But that’s been true for a decade.  Big CRE continues to fight the open data movement and trend.  I really, really hope that it wins sooner rather than later but the fight is still occurring.  Declaring victory early only serves to let people pat themselves on the back for a job not even half done yet.
