The power of perspective.

Have you ever wondered what a large lawn is?  You will have one perspective when you live in an apartment and an entirely new one the first time you have to mow it.  (Yes, new life lessons!)

The same is true with how you use space.  Drawings on a sheet of paper (no matter how detailed or 3D) will never be a substitute for sitting in the desk and getting a sense of the actual space.  The closer you can get your clients to the real perspective prior to move-in or go-live, the better you’ll be doing at building that relationship.
