I’m not sure if anyone has been following the SOPA/PIPA issue that also follows this blog, but it is possibly the most important issue of the day for many in technology, media, copyright related fields, or even relies on the internet (most of us). Regardless of your position on this bill there is enough angst over it to justify additional discussion and not to rush into action. Join Wikipedia, Reddit and others today in making your voice heard that this bill is too important to rush through with fatal flaws. Let’s at least make it known that discussion should continue with all stakeholders at the table to come up with the appropriate compromises and solutions. Everyone knows that something will be done to try to cut piracy rates, the goal is to make sure that it doesn’t harm free expression and the internet as a whole.
