Rockstars don’t do anything complicated – they just have a vision they can execute.

The world’s biggest rockstars (either in music or business) don’t necessarily do anything overly complicated.  They just have a vision that they can execute on that others can’t.  They are very good at creating and then living in their world.

It’s important to focus on the simple.  Complicated things are not easily repeated.  It’s hard to stay consistently on top when you can’t repeat what you do regularly.

Additionally, part of being a rockstar is performing on demand.  If you can’t knock out a hit quick then you aren’t going to catch and keep the eye of the discerning public.  In my line that means solving complicated, last minute problems with less than an hour of work.  There is nothing sweeter than quickly solving a problem that others struggle with.  It comes down to discovering if you have the ability to see and understand situations that others can’t.
