#CRE cutting-edge Technology does not exist yet. Anyone that says otherwise is wrong. #realcomm

There are no CRE Technologies that will blow your doors off or solve all of your problems.  Anyone that says their iWMS system does is lying to you.  Any single solution that claims to be the answer is incomplete.  Period, end of story.  All those systems being touted by Duke Long are half-baked and marketing driven.

That’s not to say that technology can’t help a CRE group, it’s just that there isn’t a standalone system that is a no brainer.  There is no SalesForce.com for CRE.  There is no iTunes.  There is no SAP.  CRE systems are 10 years behind the curve of their enterprise brethren.

The only way you can get your solutions to work for you are to focus on the process and stay vigilant at assessing the market.  Process is the key and many processes can be executed with a simple Excel spreadsheet.

Realcomm is great and there are some phenominal providers but sometimes the talk and bluster exceed the real capabilities of the providers.
