Thinking about time

xkcd has the most intriguing new comic up.  Entitled “Time” with a caption of “Wait for it.”

It appears that the online comic changes slightly every 30 minutes in the telling of a short story that is going to play out over some time.  It’s an unexpected change of pace in a world that wants everything fast.

It forces me to ask the question of myself – how often do I force a slowdown?  Am I intentionally stopping to think about the things that don’t need to be done immediately and could have more time put towards them?  What about you – are you slowing down when needed?

Sometimes it’s fun to just watch the tide casually roll in.
